Travis Air Force Base Mission

We are Travis Air Force Base. We are the 60th Air Mobility Wing, the 349th Air Mobility Wing, the 621st Contingency Response Wing. Strategically located on our nation's west coast, our Airmen are serving locally and engaging globally. Along with more than 50 partner organizations, we're projecting American power by supporting Air Mobility Command's four core mission areas. Airlift, it's what allows the U.S. to deploy our armed forces anywhere in the world at a moment's notice. Air Refueling, it's the backbone of global reach. Aeromedical Evacuation, it ensures our wounded warriors get the care they deserve. Air Mobility Support, our contingency response group quickly expands existing AMC support infrastructure worldwide. All our Airmen across all groups, work as one team to extend American power beyond borders and oceans. We are Airlift, Air Refueling, Aeromedical Evacuation, Air Mobility Support. Projecting American power anytime, anywhere. We are Travis Air Force Base.
